The Event Onsite IT Analyst plays a critical role in collaborating closely with the Senior Manager Onsite IT and various internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT requirements for trade show events requiring Onsite IT support. This role involves proactive engagement with internal departments to gather specific IT requirements well in advance of each event, as well as taking a lead role in coordinating the logistics of hardware shipment for pre-show setup and post-show teardown. The position requires extensive travel, with a commitment to being on-site at events for a minimum of 50% of the time. In this position, the analyst will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, providing technical support to onsite staff, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The role also includes managing network maintenance and security, overseeing server log reviews, and database management. The analyst will perform Windows administration, coordinate equipment reprogramming and shipment logistics, and ensure the availability of IT equipment at events. Additionally, the analyst will design and implement LANs, especially for POS systems, generate daily POS reports at event locations, and support credit and cash transactions from an IT perspective. The Event Onsite IT Analyst will also coordinate with the IT department leads for temporary staff, ensure compliance with internet regulations and PCI standards, and manage the Informa Las Vegas warehouse. This position is essential for the smooth operation of IT services during events, contributing to the overall success of the company's trade shows and exhibitions.
