Sparrow Italia is seeking an Events Sales Manager to join our team in Miami, FL. This full-time position is pivotal in maximizing restaurant sales through the identification and qualification of special events, BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), buyouts, and outside catering inquiries. The Events Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Events and will be responsible for driving sales at existing venues, hitting sales targets, and increasing event sales year over year across all stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and sales, with a focus on building relationships and partnerships to enhance our brand presence in the community. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and maintaining all sales materials, ensuring that store-level management is trained on event management and execution, and establishing a roadmap for off-site catering sales. You will work closely with local influencers, hotels, retail outlets, and other key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and partnerships that can drive sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive database of leads and events using TripleSeat, ensuring that all store-level management and reservationists are trained in its use. The Events Sales Manager will also collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to develop and maintain special event menus, as well as customer-facing menu materials. A key aspect of this role is to meet and exceed customer and brand expectations by responding to inquiries promptly and ensuring that all management is trained on event expectations and management. The successful candidate will approach all leads with a guest-first mentality, ensuring that every event reflects the sophistication and quality that Sparrow Italia is known for.
