About the position

The Events Specialist at EAB is responsible for managing a variety of events with a focus on innovation, attention to detail, and exceptional service. This role involves planning and executing over 100 in-house and off-site partner meetings, 600+ virtual events, and internal firm events, ensuring that each event meets its objectives and provides a superior experience for attendees.

Responsibilities

  • Plan in-house and off-site events, detailing specifications with preferred caterers and audio-visual teams.
  • Source venues for receptions, dinners, and social events to attract attendees and foster relationships.
  • Collaborate with program teams to develop event strategies and ensure objectives are met.
  • Work with marketing teams to create strategic communication plans for events.
  • Monitor attendance reports to maximize capacity at meetings.
  • Collect and analyze historical meeting data to predict future trends.
  • Track expenditures to ensure events stay within budget while maintaining quality.
  • Manage meeting staff to ensure superior service is provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with an excellent academic record.
  • 1 year of post-Bachelor's work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically to conferences and events.
  • Experience staffing meetings or external events.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sales Force.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and attention to detail.
