About the position

The Events Specialist at EAB will play a crucial role in managing a variety of events, ensuring high-quality service and attention to detail. This position involves collaboration with various teams to execute over 100 in-house and off-site partner meetings, 600+ virtual events, and other firm-hosted events. The role is based in Washington, D.C., and requires a proactive approach to event management and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate in-house and off-site partner meetings and events.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of virtual events.
  • Collaborate with teams across the firm to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail in all events.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients regarding event details.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.
  • 1 year of post-Bachelor's work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering service both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone.
  • Positive attitude and good judgment.
