About the position

The Events Worker-On-Call Videographer position is a temporary role focused on providing support for various events at the University, including concerts and sporting events. The role involves filming, editing video footage, and assisting with event-related tasks, ensuring a smooth operation during events.

Responsibilities

• Filming b-roll and concert footage
• Reviewing and editing footage into video pieces
• Captioning video
• Helping to organize footage
• Assisting in policies and procedures for the video arm of recording services
• Working at an assigned station in a concession stand
• Preparing and dispensing refreshments
• Transporting, maintaining, and arranging supplies, equipment, and materials
• Operating a cash drawer
• Assisting with parking enforcement
• Acting as an event usher

Requirements

• Experience in videography and video editing
• Ability to work on-call and flexible hours
• Strong organizational skills
• Customer service skills

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with event management
• Knowledge of video captioning techniques
