They will maintain documentation related to operations and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness in their designated area. Effective communication with team members is essential to ensure smooth plant operations, and the technician will also prepare for the next shift to ensure a successful production run. This role requires the ability to multitask and work independently, as well as a commitment to food safety and quality standards. The technician will participate in pre-shift meetings to gather necessary information and collaborate with the outgoing Serac Technician to ensure a seamless transition between shifts. Responsibilities

• Set up and control paper line filler equipment efficiently.
• Perform all required preventive maintenance tasks.
• Address equipment problems aggressively to minimize downtime.
• Make controlled adjustments to optimize equipment running efficiency.
• Maintain documentation associated with operations.
• Uphold quality, safety, and cleanliness standards in the work area.
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Ensure all resources are available for production runs.
• Prepare the oncoming shift for a successful run.
• Participate in pre-shift team meetings and communicate with the outgoing technician.
• Perform various tasks related to food safety and quality.

Requirements

• Minimum High School equivalency required.
• Preferred 5 years of food manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 60 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems and concepts.
• Demonstrated mechanical skills and ability to make sound decisions under stress.
• Ability to work on equipment in awkward positions and reach difficult areas.
• Willingness to stay in confined work areas wearing clean room attire for extended periods.
• Capability to wear a full-face respirator.
• Comfortable with operation of microprocessor-controlled equipment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based applications.
