About the position

The EVP Business Development at AgCountry Farm Credit Services will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Business Development teams, focusing on Retail Lending, Retail and Commercial Insurance, and Business Services. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and alignment with the Associations' strategic priorities. The incumbent will also engage in legislative and public affairs activities, advocating for the interests of the Associations and their customers in the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Business Development teams including Retail Lending, Retail and Commercial Insurance, and Business Services.
• Lead go-to-market strategies for AgCountry's customer market segments.
• Engage actively in the AgCountry marketplace through public events and local media.
• Establish and maintain relationships with other Farm Credit System lenders.
• Provide leadership in legislative affairs and advocate for the Associations' interests.
• Empower team members to make decisions and contribute ideas.
• Develop and monitor the business plan and annual operating budgets related to areas of responsibilities.
• Ensure initiatives align with the Associations' strategic goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Economics, Animal Science or closely related field or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years' experience with progressively increasing responsibility in Agricultural Finance or related area.
