About The Position

Chukchansi Gold is seeking a dedicated individual responsible for maintaining the clean and orderly condition of assigned areas in the Casino and offices, as well as other facilities owned by CEDA and the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians. The role requires effective interaction with the public and team members, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Responsibilities include cleaning property floors, moving furniture to clean underneath, gathering and emptying wastebaskets, servicing restrooms, dusting furniture and equipment, cleaning windows and mirrors, and ensuring compliance with safety precautions when using cleaning materials and equipment. The position also involves reporting hazardous conditions and maintaining a consistent attendance record while performing any reasonable requests made by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and other team members.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with the public and Team Members.
• Perform excellent customer service at all times.
• Clean property floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Move or push furniture to clean underneath.
• Gather and empty wastebaskets; empty and clean ashtrays.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Sweep stairwells and clean elevators.
• Ensure all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment are used per manufacturer's instructions.
• Report any hazardous conditions or broken equipment to the supervisor.
• Advise management of repairs or supply shortages.
• Comply with established safety precautions.
• Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Perform any reasonable request made by management.
