About the position

The position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in public and team member areas at Hard Rock Casino Bristol. The incumbent is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring superior guest service, and performing various janitorial duties to uphold the casino's standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Bristol for gaming entertainment.
• Actively build and retain guest relations while mentoring team members to provide superior guest service.
• Collect and remove trash, clean carpeted areas, and vacuum upholstered furnishings.
• Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop hard surface floors.
• Clean and dust all surfaces including walls, doors, and furnishings.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize restroom fixtures and surfaces.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members.
• Comply with department procedures, schedules, and performance standards.
• Observe and report needed maintenance to buildings and equipment.
• Assist in emergency clean-ups and provide coverage for absences.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Perform work regularly and predictably.

Requirements

• Two months of on-the-job training or related janitorial experience.
• Must obtain and maintain valid licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery regulations.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

• Excellent guest service skills and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools and testing equipment.
