About the position

The EVS Cleaning Technician I at Servicon is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas in compliance with established practices and procedures. This role emphasizes infection prevention and quality service delivery, contributing to a healthy environment for clients and staff. The position requires interaction with clients and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect assigned work area to ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and Servicon standards.
• Participate in training programs on safety regulations, cleaning methods, and equipment maintenance.
• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles and remove waste paper and rubbish.
• Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and corridors.
• Dust and wipe clean all office furniture, fixtures, and horizontal surfaces.
• Remove smudges from vertical surfaces including doors and light switches.
• Damp-mop or clean any spillage in offices and public areas as required.
• Keep janitor's closet clean and orderly.
• Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ years of custodial experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in floor care and carpet cleaning preferred.
• Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred.
• Fluency in English language is required.
