Responsibilities

  • Independently assess corporate governance, operational risk, and ERM functions within banking organizations.
  • Lead meetings with executive leaders at financial institutions and produce clear and concise written documents and reports.
  • Collaborate with team members and reach consensus with a wide range of audiences.
  • Provide guidance to banking executives and coach team members to foster maximized performance.
  • Share knowledge and provide peer-level feedback to support employee growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years in banking industry experience related to audit, ERM, and corporate governance.
  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in applicable field, or relevant work experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20-30 percent of the time.
  • Effective skills using Microsoft Office products, web-based applications, and email.
  • Ability to work out of Kansas City, Denver, Oklahoma City, and/or Omaha office(s).

Nice-to-haves

  • Active or dormant examiner commission from federal or state banking regulatory agency.
  • Graduate or advanced degree in business, management, accounting, finance, economics, or management information systems.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor certifications.
  • Leadership experience demonstrating strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
