Responsibilities

• Safely and skillfully operate excavators for excavation, digging, trenching, and grading tasks as per project specifications.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and your team.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance, including inspections and lubrication, and report any issues to the maintenance department.
• Maintain high productivity and efficiency while operating excavators to meet project timelines.
• Ensure the quality of excavation work meets project standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and team members to coordinate excavation activities.
• Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors regarding progress, challenges, and equipment issues.
• Stay informed about and adhere to all relevant regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Identify and address operational challenges or issues during excavation work.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily equipment inspection reports and work logs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Excavator - Heavy Equipment Operator in the heavy civil construction industry.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining excavators.
• Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and excavation techniques.
• Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
