About the position

Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is seeking experienced Excavator Operators to operate excavating equipment safely and efficiently. This full-time role involves laying pipe, grading land surfaces, and transporting materials. The position requires flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed, reporting directly to the Site Foreman.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavating equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Lay pipe as required.
• Build, level, grade, and excavate land surfaces using an excavator.
• Transport material to and from plant silos.
• Gather and load material from job sites onto and off of trucks.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of operations.
• Perform general labor as assigned and assist the crew when not operating equipment.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as an Excavator Operator.
• Ability to lay pipe and operate excavating equipment safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent is desired but not required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in welding is a plus.
