About the position

The Industrial Engineer at Excellerate, a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated, is responsible for creating and improving products, systems, and designs to enhance safety and efficiency in manufacturing processes. This role focuses on examining manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption, streamlining production times, and minimizing resource use while ensuring compliance with safety policies. The position requires a strong understanding of Lean manufacturing methods and aims to drive productivity and safety innovations within the company.

Responsibilities

• Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
• Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
• Ensures that processes are designed to meet quality standards.
• Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
• Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.
• Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
• Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
• Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
• Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders to address production needs.
• Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
• Helps to develop instruction manuals and process documentation for production personnel.
• Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
• Generates process reports.
• Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering required.
• 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods.
