About the position

The USIS Consumer Data Exchange Leader at Equifax is responsible for driving the data policy, strategy, and data collection for the company's consumer data exchanges. This role involves collaboration across various departments to define and ensure compliance with the consumer exchange strategy, while also managing a team that supports data contribution relationships for the USIS line of business.

Responsibilities

• Develop & publish data management policies, guidelines, and procedures for Consumer data exchanges.
• Create an operating model to manage the furnishing of assets in compliance with regulatory and legal obligations.
• Manage a team of professionals supporting Consumer exchange data contribution relationships.
• Provide leadership and direction as a Subject Matter Expert for US Consumer data exchange.
• Monitor market and industry dynamics and competitor activities.
• Communicate the strategy effectively to the Senior Leadership Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required; Master's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 7 years of analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, particularly in banking, retail credit, or consumer credit reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience documenting and communicating guidelines, standards, and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including the regulatory landscape and consumer financial protection laws.
