About the position

This position is for a Video Editor to support a new YouTube channel focused on food reviews. The role involves editing engaging and high-quality videos that resonate with the audience and align with the creator's vision. This is a project-based opportunity with the potential for future work as the channel develops.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with the creator's vision.
• Add music, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall quality and engagement of the videos.
• Ensure all videos meet the technical specifications for YouTube, including resolution, format, and length.
• Ensure all videos correctly attribute music used.

Requirements

• Experience as a Video Editor, preferably with YouTube videos.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of YouTube's platform, including best practices for video optimization and engagement.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and storytelling, and proper use of grammar/spelling.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
