In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects that are unlike anything you've done before, leading the successful execution of diverse commercial construction projects with a customer-focused approach. Your leadership will foster open communication, clear directives, and high standards throughout the project lifecycle. As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with the Estimating team during the Preconstruction phase, ensuring that all aspects of the project are well-planned and executed. You will analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications effectively, mentoring junior Project Management staff to ensure strong project oversight. Building lasting relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors will be crucial in uncovering future project opportunities. You will oversee procurement processes for Subcontractors and Vendors, ensuring compliance and efficiency while tackling drawing interpretation challenges and conflicts strategically. Your responsibilities will also include managing project documentation, such as Submittals, RFIs, Change Order Proposals, and more. You will ensure timely Owner Billings and accurate cost projections, while monitoring project schedules and providing regular progress updates. This role is essential in driving the project team towards success and maintaining high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing diverse commercial construction projects.
  • Deep understanding of building systems and construction methods.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage the entire project lifecycle.
  • Proven sales experience in the construction industry, with a knack for identifying and securing new project opportunities.
