About the position

The Executive Director of Child Well-Being & Community Health at Children's Wisconsin serves as the administrative leader for the Child Well-being (CWB) and Community Health & Education (CHE) divisions. This role is responsible for leading the organization and delivery of high-quality services, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and increase revenue streams. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to fulfill the mission of Children's Wisconsin, which is dedicated to the health and well-being of children.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the administrative leader for Child Well-being (CWB) and Community Health & Education (CHE).
  • Lead the organization and delivery of high-quality services in partnership with medical and operational leadership.
  • Initiate, plan, and lead projects to enhance reliability, standardization, cost reduction, compliance, efficiency, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and act as a resource to Legal Services and Corporate Compliance.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to increase revenue streams and improve financial results.
  • Serve as the CWB and CHE Division leader on various CW teams for projects and purposes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 5 years' experience in a medical or social service environment, including non-profit funding requirements and general administration.
  • 5 years' experience in financial services, facilities and project management, information systems support, contract review, and operations management.
  • Demonstrated experience in large, complex systems of care, strategy, operations, and partnership.
  • Advanced analytical and decision-making skills to manage a multi-faceted services division.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of key granting agency guidelines and policies or ability to learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated consulting and advising abilities to develop plans and facilitate solutions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to operations and facilities.
  • Ability to work with staff and leaders at all levels and external stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in public speaking about financial and operational aspects of organizations.
  • Skill in developing and implementing organizational strategic plans for financial performance.
  • Advanced ability to formulate reports and perform statistical analysis.
