About the position

The Executive Account Manager for EDA Sales at Synopsys is a pivotal role focused on driving sales and managing relationships with large enterprise accounts. This position requires a deep understanding of IC Implementation and Verification methodologies, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and achieve sales objectives. The role emphasizes strategic account management, technical sales, and the development of long-term customer relationships to enhance revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to obtain revenue and booking goals by building pipeline and expanding business growth.
  • Serve as the primary technical sales contact for Synopsys' EDA SW products for an Enterprise Account.
  • Create opportunities to build a pipeline based on insight and knowledge of the Enterprise Customer's needs.
  • Build relationships at executive and senior technical management levels of the Enterprise Customer.
  • Work in a team environment with Strategic Account Managers and other engineers to meet sales objectives.
  • Account planning and project management to support customer implementation challenges.
  • Develop and direct complex technical sales plans to meet or exceed account objectives.
  • Respond swiftly to information requests from customers and team members.
  • Coordinate the preparation of business proposals and work with internal organizations to close business.

Requirements

  • B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of technical selling experience in EDA or semiconductor sales.
  • Deep understanding of IC Implementation and knowledge of Verification flows and methodologies.
  • Experience working with large customers doing complex SoCs.
  • Willingness to relocate to be in proximity to the customer, if necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Proficiency in additional office productivity software beyond the basics.
