About the position

The Executive Administrative Assistant and Chief of Operations/Office Manager role at Radiant Company in Washington, DC is a hybrid position that combines high-level administrative support with operational management responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative assistance to executives, managing calendars, coordinating travel, and ensuring effective communication within the organization. This role requires a strong accounting background and the ability to interact professionally with senior officials and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of highly skilled and complex administrative duties to leaders and extended teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality with highly sensitive materials and information.
  • Manage calendars, meeting notices, and conference room reservations.
  • Provide personnel administrative support including travel arrangements and preparation of itineraries.
  • Organize, prepare, distribute, and file information to maintain effective communications.
  • Support onboarding logistics for new hires in the department.
  • Manage reporting processes and communications as established or developed.
  • Enter online requisitions and engage with the procurement team for materials management.
  • Welcome guests to the office and represent the organization professionally.
  • Work directly with the VP on budget development and management.
  • Process invoices and membership dues for the organization.
  • Execute purchasing responsibilities for office supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare expense reports for the VP and ensure compliance with reporting practices.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for VP review with accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, marketing, sales, HR, finance, or a related area or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of continuous work experience in a professional administrative capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with accurate grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to work overtime occasionally to meet workload demands.

Nice-to-haves

  • Professional Assistant Certificate of Excellence is a plus.
