About the position

We're excited to bring on an Executive Administrative Assistant/HR Coordinator to our team! In this position, you will support leaders within People, Culture and Communications and assigned HR Business Partner(s) supporting corporate functions. You will be a key enabler to ensuring delivery of Lincoln Financial Group's workplace services by proactively coordinating and prioritizing HR programs, reporting, data integrity, and responsiveness to the HR team, manager, and employee requests and inquiries. This position will interact with all levels of the organization, making it essential to have strong communication and organizational skills. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Recruiting, People and Organizational Development, and Corporate HR Business Partner with a variety of administrative tasks. These tasks will involve managing calendars, scheduling meetings, conferences, and appointments, preparing for in-person and virtual meetings, and planning and delivering team events that foster connection, collaboration, celebration, and creativity. You will also be responsible for entering expense reports, arranging and coordinating travel, processing invoices, ordering supplies and office equipment, and other similar tasks. Additionally, you will support HR Business Partners in preparing correspondence and documents, which may be confidential in nature, and coordinating the gathering of data and information for regular report requests related to activities within the team. You will assist in onboarding and offboarding team members, including communicating employee policies and procedures to new and existing employees as needed. Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), you will prepare, process, and support key employee actions and HR programs, including talent review, onboarding, severance, and performance assessments. Maintaining employee records related to hiring, transferring, promotion, compensation, and termination will also be part of your role, along with creating key HR reports and auditing data to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Recruiting, People and Organizational Development, and Corporate HR Business Partner with administrative tasks.

  • Enter expense reports and arrange travel.
  • Process invoices and order supplies and office equipment.

  • Partner with HR COEs to support key employee actions and HR programs.
  • Maintain employee records related to hiring, transferring, promotion, compensation, and termination.
  • Create key HR reports and audit data to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 3 - 5+ years of clerical and/or administrative or HR support experience in a complex corporate environment supporting senior and/or executive management.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to get things done.
  • Energetic, responsive team player interested in taking initiative and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime if needed.
