About the position

CMT Services, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Executive Administrative Aide to provide high-level administrative support in the County Executive's office located in Largo, MD. This role is crucial as it involves managing the Director's calendar, preparing and reviewing correspondence, and performing various executive secretarial tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling confidential information, multi-tasking effectively, and providing support to executive and senior-level managers. The position requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work well under pressure, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. As an Executive Administrative Aide, you will be expected to demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You will also be required to possess advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, to perform your duties effectively. The role may involve providing administrative support to independent boards or commissions, requiring a sound independent judgment and the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus, enhancing communication within the diverse environment of the County Executive's office. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is based onsite in Largo, MD. Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 3 to 5 years of experience supporting executive or senior-level managers. A successful applicant will be required to complete a background investigation as part of the employment process. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficient in typing
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA
