About the position

The position provides advanced, diversified, and confidential clerical and administrative support to executive leadership. The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and recent experience working in a corporate environment, particularly in supporting executives. The individual must be proactive and possess the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and requests, demonstrating high emotional intelligence (EQ) and collaborative skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, is essential for this role. Key responsibilities include managing calendars and scheduling meetings for executives, conducting research and analysis to support special projects and initiatives, and independently managing projects while making key decisions. The role anticipates the needs of the executives, providing proactive support to ensure their productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the position involves organizing and maintaining confidential files, records, and other important documentation, as well as preparing routine and non-routine documents, memos, correspondence, reports, and PowerPoint presentations. The individual will also ensure that travel requests and documentation are accurate and complete, while monitoring and managing expense reports, budgets, and financial documents for the executive team. Acting as a liaison between the executive team and internal/external stakeholders, the role ensures smooth communication and prompt resolution of inquiries. The nature of the work requires increasing independence, with guidance provided only on unusual or complex problems. The work environment is comfortable, with infrequent unpleasant conditions, and may require occasional light lifting or stooping. Overnight travel is expected to be less than 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Recent experience working in a corporate environment, supporting Executives.
  • Proactive and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and requests.
  • High EQ and collaborative skills.
  • Calendar and email management experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline or MS/MA with relevant experience.
