About the position

The Executive Administrative Assistant at the School of Nursing provides high-level administrative support to the Assistant and Associate Deans, as well as Academic Program Directors. This role involves managing complex calendars, coordinating large meetings, and offering project support across various functional areas including academic and faculty affairs, human resources, and research administration. The position requires a blend of organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive administrative support to Associate Deans and Academic Program Directors.
  • Manage complex calendars and schedule large meetings and events.
  • Assist with project management and coordination for various departmental functions.
  • Provide general administrative support to faculty, including resource connection and event planning.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making based on university priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage complex tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
