About the position

The Executive Administrative Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Business and Finance at County College of Morris provides high-level administrative support to the EVP, managing confidential information and coordinating essential meetings and documents. This role requires independent work in office management and support for various departments, ensuring effective communication and organization within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive level administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Business and Finance.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information and issues.
  • Coordinate agendas and documents for Board committee meetings.
  • Prepare materials for monthly Board of Trustee meetings in collaboration with the Board Secretary.
  • Manage general office responsibilities and organize divisional professional development meetings.
  • Assist department heads with goal setting and periodic outcomes assessment tracking.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Media Services departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in administrative/executive level management, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently on projects and anticipate the Executive Vice President's needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in e-mail, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Ellucian, Adobe, video conferencing platforms, and internet applications.
