About the position

The Executive Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the HR & Training Department of STS Industrial, Inc., an industrial supply company. This position is designed for individuals with a strong background in executive administrative assistance, particularly those who have experience in HR or training environments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in an executive administrative role, with a preference for those who have worked specifically in HR or training departments. This role is not a decision-making position; rather, it is focused on providing essential support to the department leader and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks. In addition to administrative duties, the candidate must possess graphic design skills, as creating visual content for marketing, training, or other business-related processes is a key responsibility. A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work will be required during the application process. The role also demands experience in moderate project management, where candidates should be prepared to discuss their most recent projects in detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential, and candidates will be assessed on their skills in this area. Furthermore, the ability to organize complex directory and folder structures is necessary to maintain efficient documentation and information flow within the department. Compensation for this position ranges from $22 to $23 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience. Additionally, there is a quarterly Teamwork Bonus Program that rewards employees based on individual, team, and company performance, with potential bonuses calculated based on a 35-hour workweek. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proficiency in graphic design with a portfolio of work samples required.
  • Experience in moderate project management is required.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage complex directory and folder structures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
