About The Position

J.P. Morgan is seeking an experienced and strategic Social Media Manager to lead and measure employee advocacy and engagement on social media platforms, primarily focusing on LinkedIn. This role involves promoting employee advocacy, managing the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Ambassador programs, and ensuring compliance with social media guidelines. The position offers the opportunity to leverage expertise in social selling, content creation, and social media analytics in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of professional work experience
  • Significant experience in Social Media and/or Executive Communications
  • In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn and its capabilities, including experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Strong leadership presence and excellent presentation skills
  • Sound judgment and high-quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across divisions and lines of business globally
  • Experience building out social media employee advocacy programs, primarily on LinkedIn
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with social media publishing and analytics tools (Hearsay, Sprinklr, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, support, and guardrails for employees regarding social media practices
  • Oversee and execute the onboarding and offboarding of CIB program participants
  • Communicate updates of program progress and results, providing consistent measurement
  • Create and maintain employee forward-facing editorial calendars for Ambassador programs, with coherent content pillars
  • Create and publish content on behalf of Ambassadors, ensuring high-quality visuals and graphics alongside strong copywriting
  • Analyze program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on the firm's social media policy, ensuring compliance with guidelines
  • Collaborate with key partners across risk, controls, legal and compliance to protect the firm and employees
  • Oversee industry trends and platform updates
  • Lead and inspire a team of two direct reports
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation
