About the position

The Executive & Equity Compensation Leader at DuPont will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the company's executive and equity compensation programs on a global scale. Reporting to the Head of Global Rewards, this leader will ensure that compensation offerings align with the company's strategic goals, market trends, and legal requirements, while also fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, design, and develop executive and equity compensation programs for competitiveness and compliance.
  • Develop recommendations for management and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor changes to proxy advisor policies, legislative changes, and SEC rules.
  • Own the People and Compensation Committee agenda and prepare meeting materials.
  • Liaise with the executive compensation consultant to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Manage delivery of all executive and equity programs, including plan design and vendor management.
  • Advise management and HR staff on compensation issues and processes.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external resources to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain oversight for stock plan data and proxy filings.
  • Lead or assist with special projects, including M&A activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in designing and implementing compensation programs.
  • Minimum of 3 years of executive compensation experience at a publicly traded company.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and legislative matters impacting compensation.
  • Robust financial acumen and knowledge of tax/accounting/legal issues related to compensation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Vendor management experience.
  • Mergers and Acquisition due diligence and integration experience.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus.
