About the position

KPMG is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our Executive Administrative Services Center (EASC), primarily supporting the Korean practice within our Administrative & Office Experience organization. This role is essential in providing a broad scope of administrative services to Partners and Managing Directors (PMD). The Executive Assistant will manage calendars, coordinate meetings and events, arrange catering and travel, and provide engagement setup and client billing support. Additionally, the role involves performing client and industry research, liaising with technology and other support teams, drafting letters, communications, presentations, and social media postings, assisting with marketing efforts, and providing other support and deliverables as needed. The Executive Assistant will build relationships with internal and external clients, understanding PMD priorities, projects, and preferences to meet expectations and add value. Professionalism and tact are crucial in all interactions, as the assistant will act as a liaison for PMDs with team members, management, and external clients, handling confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in both Korean and English is required, as the role includes coordinating communication between Korean-speaking and English-speaking clients and team members, translating business documents, presentations, contracts, and correspondence. Collaboration with team members is vital to address day-to-day challenges related to services, technology, business relationships, or other issues. The Executive Assistant will actively participate in Administrative Services team meetings and contribute to internal project teams to enhance knowledge, skills, and the overall success of Administrative Services initiatives. This position requires a minimum of five years of recent experience in administrative services or a customer service-related role, with industry knowledge in Audit, Tax, or Advisory services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars for Partners and Managing Directors (PMD) and coordinate meetings and events, both client and internal.
  • Arrange catering and travel for PMDs, providing engagement setup and client billing support.
  • Perform client and industry research to support PMD initiatives.
  • Liaise with technology and other support teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Draft letters, communications, presentations, and social media postings as needed.
  • Assist with marketing efforts and provide other support/deliverables as required.
  • Build relationships with internal and external clients, understanding PMD priorities and projects.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and tact in all interactions, acting as a liaison for PMDs with their teams and clients.
  • Utilize Korean and English language skills in a business environment, including translating documents and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with team members to address day-to-day challenges related to services and technology.
  • Participate actively in Administrative Services team meetings and contribute to internal project teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in administrative services or customer service-related role.
  • Industry knowledge in Audit, Tax, or Advisory services preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completed coursework from an accredited college/university preferred.
  • Proficient in both Korean and English languages in a business environment.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective at interacting with individuals at all levels of the firm.
  • Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills with the capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid analytical/research skills with the ability to take initiative in identifying solutions and communicating findings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, with advanced Excel skills including reporting and data analysis.
  • Exceptional web-based research skills and ability to learn firm-wide applications quickly.
  • Skilled in working well on a team with common goals and responsibilities.
