About the position

The Amazon Alexa International team seeks a driven, highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support 2-3 Directors within the Alexa International Tech Team [AIT]. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the AIT Executive Team while also providing high-level coordination with other Executive Assistants throughout the team and organization. Will partner with the Lead EA of the organization on special projects and to spearhead process improvements. A successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential and sensitive information, as well as a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge on how to work with an International Team while working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, managing ever-shifting calendars and managing multiple assignments and people simultaneously. Must have the ability to communicate well. The candidate will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Management of complex international calendars and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations and time zones
  • Manage expense reports, planning detailed domestic and international travel
  • Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
  • Understand business priorities and proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team, ranging from organizational communication mechanisms to planning business meetings
  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on unresolved items
  • Communicating on behalf of the executives directly with the leadership team and other stakeholders across the organization
  • Coordinating with the EA team on organization-wide initiatives
  • Have fun at work and help others do the same

Requirements

  • 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with executive level calendar management
