About the position

Family Source Consultants is a leading organization specializing in family building through surrogacy and egg donation. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our clients, guiding them through their unique journeys with empathy, compassion, and professionalism. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and driven Executive Assistant and Marketing Coordinator to support our CEO in various administrative and marketing initiatives. This position is part-time and offers a competitive hourly wage between $22 and $25, with expected hours not exceeding 28 per week. The role is hybrid remote, based in Orland Park, IL. The Executive Assistant and Marketing Coordinator to the CEO will be a vital member of our team, providing high-level support while also contributing to marketing efforts. This dynamic role requires a proactive and organized individual who can manage the CEO's schedule, coordinate meetings, and handle public relations management. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for content creation across various social media platforms, primarily focusing on Instagram and TikTok. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies, create and manage content for blogs, social media channels, newsletters, and other marketing materials. You will conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, providing insights that inform marketing strategies, including public relations. Furthermore, you will coordinate and organize marketing campaigns, maintain and update the CEO's social media presence, and assist with the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other promotional activities. Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns will also be part of your responsibilities, along with handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and marketing support to the CEO, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Create, edit, and manage content for blogs, social media channels, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, providing insights that inform marketing strategies, including PR.
  • Coordinate and organize marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and update CEO's social media presence, including content scheduling and community engagement.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, suggesting improvements where necessary.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing support role, preferably with experience in content creation.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Canva, etc.).
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
