About the position

Earlham College is seeking an Executive Assistant/Office Manager for the Vice President for Institutional Advancement to join our team. This position provides essential administrative support for the Vice President and the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The role involves managing correspondence, organizing donor visits, and preparing reports for Board of Trustee meetings. In addition to these responsibilities, the Assistant will serve as the Office Manager for the Institutional Advancement office, which includes coordinating the onboarding of new employees, managing office calendars, and handling invoices and budgets. The Executive Assistant/Office Manager will also assist with various on-campus events such as Homecoming/Reunion Weekend, Earlham Day, and special visits from donors or volunteers. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED certification, with an associate's degree preferred or one to two years of experience in a post-secondary academic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required, along with the ability to learn other software programs. Familiarity with basic HTML for web pages and emails is also beneficial, and experience with the Banner system is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision, multitask effectively, and communicate well with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with limited English proficiency. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for this role, as the Executive Assistant will be the point of contact for various stakeholders within the college community.

Requirements
