About the position

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level support to the President of CRH Americas, managing multiple priorities, calendars, and projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The position is based in Austin, TX, and involves collaboration with a global executive assistant team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level executive support to the President of CRH Americas and the Chief of Staff
  • Maximize the executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; collecting and analyzing information; initiating phone calls on their behalf
  • Manage the day-to-day operations in a small office
  • Complex calendar management
  • Event planning and execution including researching venues, negotiating contracts, coordinating activities, sending invites and all other related activities
  • Plan and schedule all meeting logistics for the President
  • Review expense reports
  • Work with the global executive assistant team
  • Manage all travel arrangements
  • Collaborate with the Chief of Staff on preparing all prep materials for plant visits, meetings, etc.
  • Manage club relationships and bills
  • Accounts payable management for the President's office
  • Reservation management
  • Provide personal assistance, including running quick errands and other related tasks when necessary
  • Coordinate tasks with the Chief of Staff
  • Manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Manage multiple email inboxes for the President and Chief of Staff
  • Availability to travel once a month to Atlanta, GA, as well as to various conferences (3-4 per year)

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience working as an Executive Assistant in a corporate environment
  • Ability to work within a diverse team, fostering a culture of trustworthiness with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy and maintain a high level of confidentiality
