About the position

The Executive Assistant to the CEO & President at CARE of Southeastern Michigan plays a crucial role in managing the schedules and communications of the executive leadership. This position requires a proactive and solution-oriented individual who can handle confidential materials, prioritize tasks, and provide exceptional administrative support. The Executive Assistant will also coordinate meetings, assist with event planning, and ensure effective communication with the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the schedules and communications of the CEO and President.
  • Prioritize emails and phone calls, and gather documents for meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the CEO and President.
  • Provide administrative support to the President/CEO and executive team members.
  • Efficiently manage the schedule of the President/CEO.
  • Coordinate meetings and communicate effectively with the Board of Directors.
  • Assist in setting meeting agendas and organizing tasks.
  • Maintain filing for board materials and executive team members as requested.
  • Assist with event planning, marketing, and special events as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' administrative experience supporting senior and/or executive leadership.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong proofreading abilities.
  • Customer service-oriented.
