About the position

The Executive Assistant for Environmental Health & Safety at Universal Orlando Resort plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment for the Vice President and their departments. This position involves a variety of administrative and office management duties, requiring initiative, good judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for the Vice President and corresponding executive(s) including typing, mailing, emailing, copying, and other essential administrative duties.
  • Maintains executive(s)' calendar and makes all necessary arrangements for appointments and travel.
  • Initiates and follows up on action items for new and/or routine projects, processes, and/or policies, including acquiring and maintaining technology needs through standard UO/UPR procedures, onboarding, sourcing, and workspace coordination.
  • Develops and maintains reports (including expense reports), databases, presentations, spreadsheets, and/or files as appropriate and required.
  • Screens, prioritizes, and directs incoming calls and mail/correspondence, taking appropriate actions as necessary.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of Senior Administrative Assistant experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
