About the position

The Executive Assistant at Southwest Healthcare provides essential support to the Senior Leadership Team and other organizational members, enabling leaders to concentrate on business needs. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling, expense tracking, contract support, and coordination of meetings and travel, while also managing confidential correspondence and interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and other members of the organization.
  • Manage scheduling, typing, filing, and tracking expenses.
  • Support contract management and coordination of meetings, travel, and conferences.
  • Handle non-routine correspondence and confidential information.
  • Interact with board members, physicians, community leaders, and internal contacts at all levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an administrative or executive assistant in a healthcare environment.
  • High school education or equivalent; Associate's degree in Business/Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Proficient in dictation transcription/shorthand and able to type 60-75 wpm.
  • Computer literate with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate various business machines and equipment.
