About the position

The Executive Assistant for Global Banking & Markets plays a crucial role in supporting the Executive Committee and Chief Officers by providing high-level administrative assistance. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of the team, contributing to the overall success of the Global Banking & Markets division in the USA. The role requires discretion, confidentiality, and a strong understanding of the organization's operations and business vocabulary.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high level administrative support for one or more members of the Executive Committee/Chief Officers.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships.
  • Gather, compile, verify, and analyze information for the executive's use in documents such as memos, letters, reports, and presentations.
  • Monitor, review, and approve standard expenditures to ensure activities are conducted within established budgets.
  • Provide input into developing and enhancing current processes and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the Admin Team.
  • Establish sound business relationships by providing courteous and efficient assistance to both internal and external clients.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, and develops the team.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary training in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a business administration support function.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of MS Office 2010.
  • Excellent coordination, organizational, time-management, and work prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail, resourceful, and accountability in follow-up.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, articulately, and succinctly in both oral and written form.
