ASRC - Broadleaf is seeking an Executive Assistant - Jr to support our PEO Digital work at the DC Navy Yard. This position will support one of the executive level employees or portfolio managers for PEO DES. In this role, the employee is responsible for screening incoming calls, taking notes during meetings, and managing calendars, ensuring to remind personnel about important meetings and presentations. You will also make travel arrangements, submit expense reports, and draft correspondence on behalf of the executive. All applicants must have previous experience in an administrative assistant role, preferably for a senior-level employee. You must be able to work with absolute discretion. The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to one of our executive-level employees. This includes assisting with calendaring, screening incoming phone calls, taking messages when appropriate, making travel arrangements, drafting correspondence, submitting expense reports, and taking notes during meetings. Additionally, the role may involve assisting with other clerical tasks as needed, including data entry. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in administrative support, with a preference for candidates with 10 years or more experience. Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams is essential. The candidate should be able to work independently and as a team member, learning and applying administrative support concepts to assigned duties. Specialized administrative support experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable administrative support experience with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Navy Correspondence Manual is also beneficial. The ability to schedule meetings and maintain calendars, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, is crucial. The candidate should possess excellent critical thinking skills and may oversee the efforts of less senior staff or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. A Secret Security Clearance is required for this position, and candidates must be U.S. citizens.
