About the position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a self-motivated individual to support a Vice President on the AWS Security and Privacy Legal team as an Executive Assistant. In this role, you will be a key member of our team, helping to support the rapidly growing AWS business and solve problems that affect people within our group and other related groups. This position requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and great organizational skills. You will need to prioritize across multiple critical requests while maintaining high integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. Professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is essential, as is a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without needing to know the total picture. As an Executive Assistant, your key responsibilities will include managing calendars and scheduling, tracking and helping drive the completion of key deliverables across the team, and working closely with the leadership team, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization. You will also organize, execute, and assist with team activities such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events. Additionally, you will act as a liaison for the manager's direct reports, manage team space including moves and reconfigurations, and handle domestic and international travel and expense reports. A positive attitude and the ability to have fun at work while helping others do the same are also important aspects of this role.
