About the position

The Executive Assistant position at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a critical role within the Worldwide Public Sector Team, designed to support senior leadership in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires a highly organized and self-motivated individual who can manage multiple priorities and complex tasks with minimal guidance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior-level leadership support, which includes managing multiple director-level calendars, coordinating extensive domestic and international travel, and acting as a liaison between direct reports and business stakeholders. The role demands a high level of integrity and discretion, as the Executive Assistant will handle confidential information and interact with leaders both within and outside of Amazon. In this role, you will proactively engage with leadership to plan and organize events, activities, and calendars. You will be tasked with managing complex scheduling requirements and prioritizing executive tasks and appointments based on their importance and urgency. The position also involves participating in the planning of key team activities, such as staff meetings and all-hands meetings, and driving best practices in collaboration with other executive assistants across AWS. The ideal candidate will possess superior attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnaround. Responsibilities

  • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritize executive's tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.
  • Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate extensive travel arrangements, both international and domestic.
  • Participate in planning of events and drive key team activities such as staff meetings and all-hands meetings.
  • Support at least two Directors and collaborate with other executive assistants within the organization.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of senior level leadership support experience.
  • Experience managing multiple director level calendars.
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
