About the position

As an Executive Assistant in the Next Generation Developer Experience (NGDE) team at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership and ensuring the smooth operation of their day-to-day activities. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where adaptability and exceptional organizational skills are paramount. You will be responsible for managing complex calendars, coordinating domestic and international travel, and executing various business meetings and events. Your role will also involve reconciling expenses and supporting space planning, making you an integral part of the leadership team’s operational success. In this position, you will collaborate closely with other Executive Assistants and Business Partners to track and drive the completion of key deliverables. You will be expected to handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a commitment to deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of integrity and discretion, as you will be dealing with confidential information and interacting with leaders both within and outside of Amazon. Your ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and to complete complex tasks with minimal guidance will be essential. The successful candidate will also support the annual operational planning process, business planning, and performance review cycles, ensuring that the business cycle is strategically supported. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently, making it a perfect fit for someone who is detail-oriented and capable of managing a variety of tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements.
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation.
  • Complete and file expense reports; utilizing both domestic and international currencies.
  • Drive team activities including staff meeting agendas and notes, org-wide meetings, social outings, supply ordering, and other key logistics.
  • Close collaboration with departmental EA peers.
  • Responsible for all space planning for business area.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Support annual operational planning process, business planning, performance review cycles.
  • Serve as a business partner ensuring strategic, proactive and thoughtful support of the business cycle.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of senior level leadership support experience.
  • Experience with executive level calendar management.
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.
  • 4+ years of senior level leadership support experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines.
