About the position

Our client, a reputable hospitality group, is seeking an Executive Assistant/Office Manager to oversee scheduling and office management duties in their West Loop office. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, communicative, and eager to gain new experiences in the vibrant downtown Chicago area. The Executive Assistant/Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, providing support to executives, and managing various administrative tasks. In this position, you will be responsible for utilizing MS Office to create reports, letters, and other essential documents. You will also handle incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel within the office. Typing and distributing meeting minutes will be part of your duties, along with greeting visitors as they arrive. You will need to read and analyze incoming messages, perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, and manage the filing of documents, records, and reports. Additionally, you will be tasked with opening, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, as well as arranging travel and planning events for executives, both domestically and internationally. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • 3+ years of executive or administrative experience.
  • 2+ years of executive experience supporting C-suite executives.
  • Knowledge of C-suite is highly preferred.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of software such as MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Practice with standard office administrative practices and procedures.
