About the position

The Executive Assistant/Office Manager at Drumm Center for Children, Inc. plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and managing office operations. This position is designed for individuals who are well-organized, possess strong time management skills, and can work independently. The role involves acting as a point of contact for various stakeholders, managing calendars, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth office operations, all while contributing to the mission of improving the lives of children in foster care and young adults experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for vendors, employees, the Board of Directors, and customers.
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage executive and organizational calendars and set up meetings.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
  • Act as an office manager by keeping up with office needs.
  • Format information for internal and external communication including memos, emails, presentations, and reports.
  • Take minutes during Board meetings.
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain the office filing system.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • 2 years of experience as an office manager (Preferred).
