About the position

Project Kuiper is an initiative by Amazon aimed at increasing global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). The mission is to provide fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide, thereby helping to close the digital divide. The Project Kuiper team is looking for an exceptionally bright, multitasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support leaders in Kuiper Mechanical Development. This role demands superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and excellent organizational skills, as well as the capability to manage multiple critical requests simultaneously. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and will maintain professionalism while interacting with senior professionals within the company. A good sense of humor is also valued in this dynamic environment. In this position, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the efficiency of the global administrative support team. This includes proactive coordination and engagement with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars. The role involves managing complex calendar and scheduling requirements, tracking key deliverables, and following up on outstanding items. The Executive Assistant will act as a liaison for direct reports and will drive key team activities such as staff meeting agendas, off-sites, and all-organizational meetings. Additionally, responsibilities may include space planning, travel coordination, expense reimbursement, and management of special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience leading process improvements and designing processes to maximize efficiency in a fast-paced, high-tech company.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of executive assistant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations requiring quick turnaround.
  • Strong judgment in keeping team members adequately informed.
