About the position

Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant/Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our leadership's schedules and project management processes. The Executive Assistant/Project Manager will coordinate and manage the project calendars for the President and the Director of Project Management, ensuring efficient scheduling and organization of key meetings. This position requires a proactive individual who can engage in detailed managerial and organizational analyses at the request of leadership, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. In this role, you will facilitate the enhancement of managerial effectiveness and operational efficiency through the use of existing systems and processes. You will participate in, coordinate, document, and communicate meeting information, ensuring follow-up on meeting items, tracking outcomes, and helping to ensure accountability. Leveraging existing system functions or developing comprehensive, easy-to-use systems for tracking projects will be essential to enhance transparency and efficiency in project management based on project needs. As a conduit for effective communication, you will relay directives from the President and Director of Project Management to relevant teams and individuals. Additionally, you will maintain and organize essential files and correspondence, supporting the administrative needs of the leadership. Your proactive project management and organizational skills will be crucial in overseeing the organization and tracking of projects. Flexibility and a commitment to the organization's goals are key attributes for success in this role, as you may need to adapt to additional responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the project calendars for the President and the Director of Project Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Mid-level experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in .NET and project management tools.
