About the position

At NorthBay Health, the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high level administrative and office management support to the EVP, Chief Strategic Officer, the Vice President Marketing and the Strategy and Marketing teams. The position requires excellent communication and diplomacy skills, ability to work very independently, the skill to handle multiple projects in different subject areas at one time, the ability to set up complex meetings, high attention to detail and the willingness to maintain confidentiality due to the nature of the business conducted within the company and the division. Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum five years' previous recent secretarial experience required, at least one year of which must have involved support to multiple managers.
  • Experience in a health care setting preferred.
  • Executive Assistant level experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to anticipate managers' needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
  • Good judgment skills.
  • Ability to compose basic letters, format reports, meet deadlines, move ahead with initiative, and prioritize projects.
  • Excellent telephone skills. Knowledge of office equipment and technology.
  • Knowledge of managed care terminology and operations preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • College and/or business college coursework preferred.
  • Notary Public Commission preferred or obtains within 6 months of hire.
