About the position

The Executive Assistant supports St. Dominic Village's CEO and other executive-level leadership by providing dedicated executive administration and support. This role involves scheduling meetings, coordinating departmental events, and streamlining various administrative processes. The Executive Assistant will frequently communicate and interact with senior-level personnel, including Directors, Board members, and external collaborators, to assist with community objectives. The ideal candidate will be articulate, poised, and professional, with experience in senior living and non-profit organizations. This position requires a high level of discretion and the ability to manage sensitive information effectively. In this role, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records, developing meaningful reports, and effectively expressing ideas both orally and in writing. The ability to make presentations before large and small groups is essential, as is the capacity to exercise tact and courtesy in frequent contact with internal and external customers. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships is crucial, as the Executive Assistant will be tasked with various assignments that require collaboration and communication across different levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO and executive leadership with administrative tasks.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate departmental events.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or a concentration in Humanities and social sciences (Preferred).
  • High school diploma with 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant or in another office administrative role.
  • 3 years working in human services, preferably with adults or children with disabilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years progressive experience in human services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with DocuSign and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience in senior living and non-profit organizations.
