About the position

The Executive Assistant to the CFO and General Counsel at GRAIL Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Executive, Finance, and Legal teams. This position requires a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills, as the assistant will manage sensitive communications and priorities for senior leaders. The role is integral to the company's mission of early cancer detection, requiring a proactive and solution-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise discretion and sound judgment in C-suite level matters, especially those involving financial and legal sensitivities.
  • Maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities while working with senior executives.
  • Multitask efficiently, synthesizing and coordinating multiple communications in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage the calendars, meetings, and priorities for the CFO and General Counsel, including managing corporate expenses.
  • Draft and manage sensitive external communications on behalf of Executive Leadership.
  • Remain calm under pressure with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain a team-oriented approach.
  • Take initiative to anticipate and resolve potential needs or conflicts.
  • Project manage special projects and ad-hoc assignments independently.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, navigating ambiguity with confidence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in executive admin support or a combination of a B.A./B.S. degree with relevant experience supporting C-Suite executives.
  • Strong business sense and ability to decipher priorities while making sound judgment calls.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relations.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new procedures, software, and technologies.
  • Commitment to excellence, performing duties at the highest level possible consistently.
  • Positive attitude with a strong desire to roll up sleeves and contribute.
  • Experience with Google Suite or other cloud-based office programs.
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and addressing sensitive information with high customer service.
