About the position

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer at Pierce Transit plays a crucial role in providing high-level, confidential administrative support. This position is designed for a proactive and service-oriented individual who will manage complex calendars, coordinate travel, and assist with special projects while ensuring exceptional customer service to stakeholders and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars and emails for the Chief Administrative Officer.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and handle executive-level administrative tasks.
  • Oversee and assist with special projects and meetings, developing project agendas and guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to division customers and stakeholders.
  • Take comprehensive meeting minutes, capturing action items and tracking their completion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in high-level administrative support, including calendar management and travel coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in documentation.

  • Public sector experience is desired.
