About the position

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Verkada plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Engineering organization. This position involves managing the CTO's calendar, coordinating events, and supporting the Engineering leadership team. The Executive Assistant will also lead special projects and collaborate with other administrative support team members, contributing to team morale and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage the calendar in a proactive and thoughtful manner for our CTO.
• Execute on external events in tandem with the Engineering executive and leadership team (i.e. conferences, speaking engagements, team building).
• Own special projects associated with our Engineering executive and leadership team.
• Manage travel & expedite expense reports.
• Collaborate with other members of the administrative support team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of Executive Assistant experience to VP-level stakeholders within tech.
• Experience working within an Engineering organization strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple calendars in tandem.
• Preference for executive level coordinating and event planning experience.
• Attention to detail, coupled with creative problem solving and superior communication skills.
• Proactive mindset to handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance of potential issues.
• Track record of accomplishment in all previous roles.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to navigate and flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Proficient using Google G-Suite.

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 USD
